This church is one of the oldest churches in ghana. Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Cathedral was built in 1906 by the Europeans. The walls of the church were built with mud, which is the reason it is at times called the mud cathedral. Inside, it would seem that numerous other Catholic places of worship with pictures of occasions in the hour of Jesus posted on its walls. Being one of the oldest places of worship in the nation, people who visit it aren’t there to worship. Most of them are tourists who come to feast their eyes on the old place of worship.
